Comprehensive cardiovascular prevention, non-invasive diagnosis, treatment, consultation and long-term follow-up—serving Central Florida since 1988.
Lake Cardiology specializes in evidence-based cardiovascular prevention, non-invasive diagnosis, non-invasive treatment, consultation and long-term follow-up.
From our Mount Dora office, we care for patients from Lake County and communities throughout Central Florida, including neighboring Orange, Seminole, Marion, Osceola and Volusia counties.
We personalize a targeted, lifelong cardiovascular risk-reduction program for every patient, combining modern diagnostic technology with careful clinical evaluation and an enduring physician-patient relationship.
Dr. Kronhaus provides patient-centered cardiovascular care focused on prevention, early diagnosis, individualized treatment and long-term management.
His approach emphasizes understanding each patient's personal risk factors and health goals, then developing an evidence-based plan supported by non-invasive testing, advanced imaging and careful follow-up.
Kenneth D. Kronhaus, MD, PhD — known to many patients as Dr. Ken Kronhaus — has provided cardiovascular care to Central Florida patients for decades.
Outside of the office, Dr. Ken enjoys spending time with his family, working out, Major League Baseball, movies, theater, and relaxing near water and in nature.
Encouraged by his daughter, he volunteers with the Miss Florida Scholarship Competition, helping young women earn college scholarships and strengthen their interviewing skills. He has also served as a spokesperson for the American Heart Association and co-hosted nationally syndicated radio.
Kristin Casey, PA-C, MMSc, has been a valued member of Lake Cardiology since 2011, working closely with Dr. Kronhaus to provide comprehensive preventive cardiovascular care.
Kristin received her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Florida before earning her Master of Medical Science from the Yale School of Medicine Physician Associate Program in 2005.
Throughout her career, Kristin has remained committed to delivering exceptional patient care through an individualized approach that addresses each patient’s unique health goals. She has a particular interest in preventive cardiology and cardiovascular risk reduction.
Kristin has expanded her practice by establishing an evidence-based medical weight loss clinic focused on providing state-of-the-art cardiovascular risk reduction and improving overall wellness.
Outside of the office, Kristin enjoys spending time with her four children and supporting their many activities. A lifelong sports enthusiast with a special love for softball, she especially enjoys watching her children grow and excel in athletics.
She also enjoys gardening, caring for a wide variety of animals, and supporting her local 4-H and FFA programs, reflecting her appreciation for agriculture, community, and the outdoors.
